Del Paso Heights school district, which includes a very diverse population,
is suffering from extremely low academic performance. Regardless, the
schools hold importance to many in the community. Proud parents, many of
which come from other countries, attend their children's elementary school
graduations. In addition, many school leaders are making extraordinary
efforts to address the challenges that the schools are facing.
